Amateur Poetry Contest!
I just saw this today and thought some of you creative minds may like to know about it! You can submit a poem here for a chance to win the grand prize of $1,000. Altogether, there will be 116 prizes totaling over $10,000. Your poem must be 34 lines or less and you may only submit one entry. You retain rights to your poem and may even become eligible for a one-time publication. Entry is free. Contest ends 8/31/12. See the official rules for more details.

Among The Angels
Among the angels
Is where she must be.
A voice in the clouds calls out to me.
I close my eyes just to see.
Her beautiful face is hidden from me.
Among the angels
Is where she must be.
Tears fall like rain.
With out words angels sing.
I understand now what it all means
A message of love and kindness.
Among the angels
Is where she must be.
All the goodness in her smile.
Is now just a sweet memory,
That I will cherish
and keep in my heart.
Where she is loved,
And where there will
always be a part of her
that lives in me
