What is Ubokia?
Ubokia was founded in November of 2011 with the mission to put the buyer first. Basically, it is an online marketplace where people like you and I can buy, trade, and sell with each other.  I know you’ve all seen ecommerce sites or perhaps even buy/trade/sell sites but here’s the difference on Ubokia: It’s in reverse. That means instead of posting what you are selling, you post what you want to buy and the sellers come to you. In addition to posting Wants you can also post your items for sell and instantly get matched up with people who want what you have. It’s a really great idea and unlike anything else around.  I am really excited to be partnering with them and hope you’ll find it useful as well!

Recently, they have created the ability for blog owners (such as myself) to install the full Ubokia marketplace on their site and on our Facebook pages for benefit of the users. This allows all you lovely readers of Sidetracked Mom’s Blog to access the marketplace easily!  You can buy, trade, and sell amongst each other as well as the entire Ubokia community. Ubokia has built a number trust features on top of their marketplace such as private uGroups and uTrust verification which allows users the option to verify their profile.

All of these features can easily be accessed through the embedded marketplace on Sidetracked Mom’s Blog which makes it super easy to get started. Check out the Ubokia marketplace and post a few Wants to get started.  Or, browse all the Wants that are already posted to see if you have something someone wants. Also, you can post items that you have for sale and get matched up with others who want it.
