I don’t think I have ever been so excited about an overnight bag! I mean, just look at this!! This is my new Black & White Damask Travel Bag from Miss Lucy’s Monograms. Isn’t it adorable!?
It’s much bigger than you might think from the photos, too! It is 20”w x 12” x 12”d and is very spacious! The beautiful black and white damask exterior is made from a durable canvas. As a mom, I read that as “easy to clean – score!” There are two carrying handles as you can see from the photo but what I thought was really cool is how the expandable pull handle is hidden in this zippered side pocket! There are wheels on the bottom! And, there’s a shoulder strap included as well so you can carry this bag in your hand, on your shoulder or pull it behind you – whatever is easiest for you!
Here’s one more very cool feature I noticed… the hardware they use for the shoulder strap swivels 360 degrees so you never have to worry about those twisted shoulder straps when you pick up your bag. I know that’s a small detail that a lot may overlook but it’s one of those things that can be very annoying and I thought it was great that Miss Lucy’s Monograms took that into consideration when choosing their hardware. To me, it meant they put time and consideration in to the making of this bag.
Look at all the extra pockets for storing and organizing your belongings, too:
Speaking of the making of this bag… check out that hot pink “D”! I **love** it. Why did I choose the letter D when my name starts with a C? Well, here’s the thing… I knew I was going to love this bag when I ordered it… but if I love it, my baby girl will probably love it, too, right? Then, I’d have that ‘mom guilt’ for choosing my initial instead of hers. But, still, **I** want it too so I fought with myself about using HER initial until I finally decided the initial of our last name would be perfect! Now, it belongs to us both!
After I settled on which letter to choose, I had to pick a font. All of Miss Lucy’s Monograms products have the option for FREE monogramming! This is a great way to personalize a product and really make it ‘your own’! When you’re deciding on the font, you can click the title of each font to see then entire alphabet set.
This helped me a lot in making my final decision! And, believe me, I needed all the help I could get! Not because the website was difficult to maneuver but because I just could not decide which product I liked the most! I’m beyond pleased with the bag I received – though, I have a feeling any of their products would have made me just as happy!
They have a huge variety of products you can personalize: from Bible covers to towels; from a BBQ apron for your husband to a dog collar for Rover; from pillowcases to keychains! They even have car window decals & monogrammed front license plates! This is one of my favorite window decals:
